Glee Gum's recips for Natural Bubble Gum IceCream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Especially when we look at the ingredients in most ice cream. Give your vocal chords a rest and your mouth a treat with sweet, natural, homemade, bubblegum ice cream. Non-GMO, of course! Here are two ways to make it: one if you have an ice cream mixer, one if you don’t.


If you have an ice cream mixer…

  • 2½ cups half and half
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1-2 boxes of Glee Gum

Optional ingredients:

  • 4-6 drops of food coloring
  • 1-2 dashes of orange and lemon food flavoring
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

If you’re using a blender…

  • 2-4 ripe bananas
  • 1-2 boxes of Bubblegum Flavor Glee Gum


If you have an ice cream mixer…

Add the half and half, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract into a medium saucepan. Whisk together until combined and sugar is dissolved. Whisk the egg yolks and add to the mixture. Cook over medium heat.

Add in food coloring, food flavoring, and cinnamon as desired. Continue to cook while whisking and bring to a light boil.

Cook for about 15-20 minutes, until the mixture is slightly thickened.

Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover it, and place it in the fridge to cool. Allow to cool for at least 3 hours. Once the mixture has completely cooled, add it your ice cream mixer for churning.

Churn ice cream for about 20 minutes. The consistency will be very soft. Place ice cream in a sealed container and freeze for about 2 hours prior to serving.

Stir in Glee Gum pieces before serving. Enjoy!

If you do not have an ice cream mixer, do not despair! Here’s a banana-flavored twist that only requires a blender…

Peel bananas. Place them in the freezer for an hour. Slice bananas. Put them in the blender. Stir in Glee Gum pieces.

Scoop & enjoy!
